Reed’s Star is a developing creative and educational project exploring trauma, memory, family systems, military communities, survival, and the ways personal and historical stories can echo across generations.
My art centers on people whose stories have been overlooked, dismissed, or silenced. Through storytelling and creative work, I seek to make room for their voices, preserving the complexity, dignity, and humanity of their lives.
Current and future projects may include screenwriting, essays, talks, historical research, visual materials, educational resources, and public conversations connected to intergenerational trauma and lived experience.
Through the Haze
Screenplay
In 1974 Tulsa, a sharp, guitar-playing teenage girl in a residential treatment home for military dependents fights to protect the fragile family she’s formed with the other girls as sexual harassment, institutional hypocrisy, and the threat of abandonment drive them toward rebellion and escape.
